It's a strange experience to watch three actors getting mock-tortured on screen, and then to shake hands with the men who actually went through it. And it takes a certain kind of hero to be stripped of your dignity and then to emerge with it not only intact, but immeasurably enhanced.
"Just before I left," said Shafiq Rasul, "the guy in the cage next to me said 'you've got to tell the world about this.' And that's what we're doing."
