Basket cases

A marvellous piece of recent history: within a minute of Spain creeping into the Basketball World Cup Final this afternoon ('YARRRRRRGH!' went our cry, or something like it), the three courtside commentators on La Sexta had pulled out some jamón and a bottle of rioja that they'd smuggled past Japanese security, and were toasting the team with plastic cups, live on TV. When one of the officials came by to complain, they gave him some ham, made him wave at the camera, and he went away happy. I never saw Mark Lawrenson try that one.
For the final, I wonder if they'll sneak in a live bull?
