Blushing bells
26 January 2007. Inspired by an embarrassment of richness.

The rather shiny Poddy Mouth has posted the first review of the doorbells, and I'm far too modest to quote a word of it, so go read for yourself.
A few years ago, I interviewed Toby Litt, and asked him if he ever reads his reviews. He told me that he didn't anymore, because bad reviews paralysed his writing, and good reviews were just like cheesy Wotsits - you gorge on them immediately, but you don't feel too good about yourself afterwards.
I didn't say this to him at the time, but I've always liked cheesy Wotsits.
